Open Evening

On Tuesday 20 September, we welcomed prospective pupils and their parents to our annual Open Evening. The evening provides the opportunity for visitors to get a sense of what is so special about our school. The event was exceptionally well attended and we are grateful to the parents/carers and Year 5 and 6 primary pupils who enthusiastically took part in a variety of activities.

The winner in the mathematics ‘times table challenge’ impressively managed to correctly complete 56 multiplications in 60 seconds, an incredible achievement.

We have received a great deal of very positive feedback from those who came to Open Evening. Visitors again commented in particular on the excellent attitude and good manners of our pupils who were guides and assisted in many of the evening’s activities; they were a credit to our school and to their parents.
