Castlerigg Retreat

Last week, 40 Year 10 pupils spent a gloriously sunny week in Keswick at the Diocesan Youth Centre, Castlerigg Manor. Led by the Castlerigg team, with support from our Chaplaincy team and staff, the pupils were really generous in how they entered into the activities and all that was asked of them. Highlights of the week included reaching the summit of Walla Crag, small group time, toasting marshmallows around the bonfire, and getting to know pupils who they would not usually speak to. The retreat ended with our final Mass when the singing was incredible! Many of the pupils commented that it was a great celebration that brought everyone together. It was the perfect way to end an excellent week!
