End of Year Awards

We held our award presentation assemblies during Wednesday and Friday mornings this week, with large numbers of pupils receiving a range of different awards in recognition of their progress, and engagement with homework. Special awards also included Subject award trophies, Head of Year and Headteacher categories.

Again, the presentation assemblies are appreciated by both pupils and staff, especially with this term’s awards again proving how hard-working and determined many of our pupils have been.

At all ceremonies, each Head of Year gave a warm welcome and then invited school chaplain Emily McDonald-Romero to open the ceremony with a prayer. Mr Hubbard initially presented awards to pupils for bronze, silver, gold and super gold progress scores. Presentation awards for homework were then awarded to pupils who have excelled in making sure that they completed 100% homework during the term to the best of their ability.

The next awards presented were for individual subjects trophies, which recognised our pupils’ outstanding academic achievements throughout the year.

Special recognition awards were presented by Mr Hubbard Head of Year awards, recognising a boy and girl pupil who have made an outstanding contribution to school life in all areas of progress, achievement and conduct.

The final award for each ceremony was the Headteacher’s award, a pupil chosen by Mr Hubbard who has quite simply been at their very best in absolutely everything they have done.
